What about the headband though? Is the padding of the headband enough? I have Focal Spirit Classic, even though they sounded amazing but the headband has barely any padding which is not very comfortable or good for long listening section.

Yah, you might wanna ask Peter from doublehelixcable and see if he can do a cable for ultrasone edition 8. His cable is lighter and more flexible, no sure about the sound though, I have never heard one, but am very willing to try one in the future :)

Angel card has more emphasis on the vocal, makes it more smooth and forward. However, less driving power and less cleaner background. I heard the angel card has great synergy with Th900 though.

Yah, that's something they should reconsider when designing their products. Anyway, is it possible to take down the leather on the headband and staff some foams into it or the extra padding will definitely change the cosmetic looks of the headphones?

Never tried the Spirit One, but it seems the classic has a larger size which may change the comfort factor as the weight changes. Although the space within the ear pads are quite enough, bigger than the momentum-over ear. Essentially everything is perfect except the headband :(

Focal spirit class? Just got mine today, sounded amazing, warm and forwarded vocal with good amount of bass. Although I wish there is more padding under the headband, kinda hard to find a sweet spot when wearing them. Maybe some more head time would help this issue.

I think k702 and dt990 are a lot a lot more power hungry than the x1, so I guess they will have more potential when the amping are better as the controls over bass and treble would be improved. But if the amp is like e10k or even listening straight from ipod, fidelio x1 would be an better option. 

Hmmm, to me, it's definitely worth buying as long as the amount of details/resolutions are superior than the momentum. Wait, we are talking about the momentum over ear right?
