  Sounds to me as if your local hifi shop wanted to sell you what they had rather than order the 6SE.  I have used easy to drive Grado RS1 and harder to drive Beyerdynamic T1v2 and both are just fine.  Just need to find the right match of tubes to go with your cans.     BTW, props to Mike...

Howdy...   Just received my T1.2 this week on the recommendation of Mike at Woo Audio.  I wanted to spend more but he suggested the T1s.  I like them but have a couple of questions.  First, how long is the burn in for these cans and how worthwhile would it be to get a 3rd party cable instead...

Does anyone have any info on the Woo DAC?  I own the WA6-SE and would like to get a DAC in the range of $1,000.  My headphones are Grado RS1.  If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them...  I mostly listen to jazz and a real clean bass line is extremely important to me.   Thanks!

  For now, I decided to go with what you've done... changed a little of it though.  Had some nice black rubber tubing into which I placed some grabber screws.  Opened the holes in the bottom piece to allow the screws a little more room.  Works for now.  I've pretty much decided my next purchase...

I just completed the cap upgrade on my little Aune T1.  I did all four sets of the caps.  Little is an overstatement.  Tiny is more like it.  Have the replacement caps out of the bottom of the box; will need to figure a new way to cover the bottom but... it still works.  Gonna take some burn in...

I have the RS1 with the Aune T1.  I have pared it with an original NOS Amperex white label PQ 6922 which cost almost the same as the Aune in the first place (that would be about $150).  Let me tell you though, the sound stage is absolutely huge.  The stock tube it comes with is nice but no where...
