Filters work thanks to holes of different diameters; if you look on the side of each of them you will notice these holes (the tighter, the bassier).- AverageDude

Thanks for the detailed answer... I didn’t know Shanling was coming with an M6; I really love what they did with the M0 UI, and find the sound really good, especially given the price of the device. I’ll wait for more comparison between Fiio and Shanling, and maybe by then the M15(Pro) will be...- AverageDude

In the market for a new DAP, in order to replace my Fiio X7ii (ideally, even replace an X7ii/A5 stack). I have looked into the Fiio M11Pro, but many reviews claim the X7ii is sonically/musically better. Same goes for the Hiby R6Pro. Currently, my attention is mostly drawn to the ibasso DX220...- AverageDude

What a memory! Warhaus is led by one of the previous leaders of the Belgian band Balthazar, which I had the opportunity to see performing live (in France) several months ago. I must say Warhaus is much more to my liking than Balthazar. Maarten Devoldere (singer and guitarist in both bands)...- AverageDude

Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆
I have been using Qobuz (Sublime - high res streaming) for a couple of years, as well as Audirvana. I am happy with the integration of both my local library and Qobuz in Audirvana. Despite all the praises received by Roon, I do not feel like paying as much as 119 a year, let alone 499 for...- AverageDude

+1 Stock setting (black/black) is none of my liking. I am still burning mine in, but so far either red (punchier) or pink (more neutral) lower filters and either green or blue tips seem to be the setup I will be using.- AverageDude

Thank you both @Daniel Johnston and @Matt Bartlett ! I will need some more time to evaluate whether the Poly would be useful to me, or friendlier than a stack with the CCK. Any way I really do appreciate the swift answers to my questions.- AverageDude

$500 on top of the Poly price is something I must really think about. Is getting rid of the Apple CCK worth $1000? I have no problem paying an app $10-20 over the Poly, $500 is quite a stretch though!- AverageDude

Thanks for the quick update. Isn't Roon yet another subscription (and a costly one I must add, 119$/year)? Unless there is another Roon going on than the one I am thinking about...- AverageDude

@Matt Bartlett Hi Matt. I am on the fence of ordering a Poly, though the way it works still is a bit blurry to me. I am a Qobuz Sublime and Neil Young Archives subscriber, iPhone user. I am not paying Qobuz and Archives Hi-Res subscription for CD quality files to be honest, Airplay is therefore...- AverageDude

And I as a bike rider (read: bicycle) feel even more vulnerable. I have come to the conclusion that car drivers only care about themselves which, to some extent, is understandable from their point of view as everything is done to make them think cities are made for cars. Which is not the case...- AverageDude

I received mine today. Only a short listening session. Fit is much better than any previous IMR, the kind of IEM that can be forgotten in your ears (huge plus point for me). Nozzles seems a bit longer, which makes for a better fit with stock silicone tips. Red/blue seems a nice option for me...- AverageDude

Hum... yes, why not? I have absolutely nothing against cursing (which I use more than most), but hbb is a public figure... There are a great deal of stuff I love after the 70s; aside from those you mentioned, on top of my mind: 80s: Joy Division, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dire Straits, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Cure, Wire, ... 90s: Nirvana, obviously, Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, Skunk Anansie, Rammstein, Ben Harper...- AverageDude

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd... My favourite music is that that was made in the 70´s (my wife tells me I am only listening to music for elderly even though I am « only » 39). But hey, just think about it! On top of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, you had then: Neil Young, early ZZ Top, the Eagles, Paul...- AverageDude
