    AKG new headphone K545?

I agree. I previously had the AKG K551 and they were amazing headphones. Unfortunately I didn't have them in my possession for too long so I cannot recall the details on them accurately but the soundstage and noise cancelling/reduction was quite impressive. That being said there are quite a...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

Bumping this post. I have heard that if I wiggle the cable I may be able to determine whether it is a cable issue or a driver issue but it appears to be likely a driver issue. Wiggling or putting in the cable half-way doesn't really product output on the right hand side.

    AKG new headphone K545?

This is what I asked earlier but it would appear that from some reports there are still various quality control issues with the K545's which is disappointing since I have been considering these headphones for portable usage. Now I may have to look at the Sennheiser M2 Momentum over-ear series...

    Sennheiser MOMENTUM Review

You have to however screw in the cable or lock it in a certain position for both channels to play as the design is a TRS and not a TRRS as on the stock cable for the 2.5mm connector. It is somewhat stiffer than the stock cable but is also thicker about...

    Sennheiser MOMENTUM Review

The main difference between the Brown and the Black version is that the Black version also has a QR code on the side for verifying authenticity by going to this link and entering in the information here:   http://qr-sennheiser.com/index.php?id=5&L=1&id=5   There is also a video showcasing...

Hifiman HE-400i and HE-560: From CES to Pre-Launch

Compared to normal dynamic driver headphones the He-500 are nearly double in weight if we compare for example to the Sennheiser HD600 which weights at about roughly 260Grams. The He-400 is about 440Grams and the He-500 comes in at about 502Grams. The design change to a single-sided magnetic...
