I've had a Starfield at the office for a few years and have had no issues with it. They sound great and I'm probably the only person that actually likes the cable they come with.

Welp, I sold off my Illumination as it wasn't getting much use these days. Still needed something for the odd occasion I still want to use IEM's, just much cheaper, so I figured I'd go for an Aria. Looks like the same one as on the Illumination except different material. It's fine but I probably wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it unless you really want the modularity.

Have had the Illumination for over a week now and **** these are good. Seem like great all rounders, nothing in my library sounds bad with these, even hip hop plays nicely. I'm way too lazy to write proper review, but happy to answer questions. XXXTREME CLOSEUP

When hasn't Headfonia given a very good review to something? Anyway, the graph looks like ass. No bass and middle finger treble.

I agree that graphs are not the whole story and given the open shell it might not sound as bad as it looks, but that's way too esoteric to ever consider at a $800.

Too long since I've heard the Oxygen. It's brighter and has more bass, that much I can say with confidence.

Bit more expanded: tuning is very similar to the B2 but with a bit more upper bass/lower mids; a bit more upper mids; less lower treble. This results in a warmer and smoother sound, not by a whole lot but anyways. I don't have a B2 to compare to anymore, but from memory the stage has less depth...

Super early TL;DR, it's B2 without BA timbre.

IEmatch is not an impedance adapter though, it's an attenuator. If you want a lower impedance, you'll need to get a separate dac/amp.

If the MMCX plug or jack is broken, it would just cut out. It can't degrade the sound quality. I checked out that song and it sounds pretty crappy, at least on Spotify. Bass is clips to distortion and the stereo has weird phasing ****ery going on.
