Chord Electronics Qutest DAC - Official Thread
I like the stand, must have just come out. Been using a piece of patagonian rosewood (not a real rosewood) as a stand, it has more mass than the Qutest and I think its makes a difference.- emgineer

Gilmore Lite Amp Owners Unite!
I would get the usb option as I could use it for my mojo/poly setup! Been using the MoPo with the GL2 for over a year powering HD6xx, Ety ER4SR, iSine 10s and as a pre for ADAM A3X. GL2 made the MoPo faster with the transients, bolder with the bass, added detailing to the mids and highs...- emgineer

I get to the point to where 'the voice' inside my Poly tells me that the software update is pending and I should reboot the poly. Afterwhich it will take 10 minutes to update Poly. I reboot and then 'the voice' tells me once again, to reboot to start the update. 4 times now. Also glad I...- emgineer

Sennheiser HD800 Certificate for Frequency Response Arrived
Here are my results. Powering them with a Lyr and loving it! After 2 weeks the headphones have not exhibited any harsh highs and the bass is definitely not anemic. Just the right amount of warmth and a whole lot of detail.- emgineer

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
I went with balanced Moon Audio Silver Dragons for a pair of Noble Savant UIEMs being fed by my 100ii. The biggest things I noticed were the sound stage was wider and the bass seemed to have better extension and a little more punchiness to the transient. The highs seemed to get a smidgen more...- emgineer

Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II
Sorry, MSQ has been replaced on the AK100ii FW itself, not on the host PC/server. As for the EQ it seems the ability to draw them in has been removed, you can select 1 of 10 bands and increase/decrease them by.5 db.- emgineer

Interface is a little cleaner with a better emphasis on whats playing. MSQ has now been replaced with AK connect which does a better job of streaming and allows control of my AK100ii from android phone. As for sound, I want to say that their is a slight increase in instrument separation as...- emgineer
