The old Beyer DT770's are discontinued, which were quite a bit different sonically from the newer designed series. Only the 770 Pro is sold new at most places. Has this one also been discontinued or are you talking about the old model? The old model is not sold too often on the forums F/S section.

The TH600 is my second favorite for electronic behind the JVC DX1000. Well see if the signature DJ can become the second best or not. I also love the HD800 sometimes for its insane detail and space eqed to add some bass.

Its Hard Rock in the vein of Jimi Hendrix, Purple etc, which some high production quality that you would not expect from typical recordings then Accept is a old school metal band in lieu of stuff like Saxon, Priest etc.

I suggest you check out purrins CSD plots. Headphone decay is specific to different parts of the frequency range. Bass can decay slower than mids and treble and vice versa. Spots of problematic decay also show up ringing. Longer bass decay results not in sounding fast or slow or any of that...
