Can somebody just confirm that you do not need to remove the op-amps to complete the passive mod ? I removed caps 35 & 36 and substituted with new caps and resistors as per the photo supplied by Tilt in post #5.

I think you will find that there is a Digital IN socket (one) and two analogue OUT sockets (to amplifier). You may have connected it wrongly.

I have a Cambridge 640cV2. I like a very detailed and crisp sound, which the Cambridge has. I have never owned, nor heard the NAD, but I suspect that the NAD would give a warmer presentation. It depends which you prefer crisp and detailed or warmer and less detailed.

Are there any Hifi press reviews on this DAC ?

Question for Mekanoplastik. I am in the U.K and want to buy one of these Dac's. I have emailed DIYClub to ask how much postage is to Europe, but I have had no reply. How much was postage to Madrid. The op-amp sockets were $15 extra ?
