Ostry KC06As have fantastic, very tight bass, and overall are great headphones for the price so you might want to look into those. Sony MDR-XB90EXs have an extreme bass quantity from what I've heard around the forums, and are overall pretty decent.

Sadly not really good at EQing, though never really tried. But, I have heard that a small nozzle on the tips=less treble, more bass. And the XB50's stock tips have tiny nozzles. So I was thinking of getting some larger nozzeled eartips on it. Do you think it will help at all? Have you tried?  ...

Hey, I just bought the XBA 50s, not sure how I feel about them. The mids and highs just seem to recessed for my liking. How do they compare to your new earbuds? I was thinking of exchanging these for vPulses which, if you're correct, are the same as your new earbuds.
