I thought 28xxx don't have 6kHz issue. This is the first 28xxx I'm seeing with the peak issue.

I've never experienced left channel loudness with my 598. If you want, I can check it for you if you give me a small sample of the audio file.

I've always wondered what's the deal with the disappearance of 600 in India but when it's available in other regions. Thanks for clearing things up. So how much he is asking for 600 and 580?  

Same reason I keep on finding excuses to delay my Chennai visit. I know stax will spoil me.

Are they still selling the 600? Can't see them anywhere recently. Some stores list them as discontinued.

I think you're more concerned about the second reason than actually travelling all the way to Chennai. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

I think it's the same offer vaibhavp mentioned earlier. There is also a new koss esp950 listing. I'd like to see more brands in Indian websites especially amps.

Awesome but i'm still waiting for your impression between stax and 800. Atleast a small comparison about where they excel each other will be great.  

What surprises me is people can justify their own spending on things they love even if it cost a fortune but make fun of others when it comes to spending. Everyone has their own passion and people should respect that.   

I did once but took down soon. It's not worth doing there. They see you as some kind of brainless guy spending that much money in a headphone.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't have any balanced amp to make use of that cables. I don't want to deal with the stock cable until I go balanced, so I'm looking for some third party SE cables for now.

No microphonic issues with HD800 cables and i like them. He-500 silver cables on other hand, just uncomfortable in every way. I'm looking forward at hifiman's new cables other than the new pads before deciding on third party cables.

DHC C2 looks awesome with lot of customization options. Just curious, have you found any fault with stock cable or is it just for going balanced? I have no specific problem with stock 800 cable so far, but i'm seriously considering replace my 500 cable because of tangling and annoying...

Indeed they are.    Had any luck with the 800 cables? Right now i'm looking at Forza cables which i came to know from another thread. They have some really affordable cables.

I too noticed but a little hesitant about posting it here as i already mentioned the deal twice and some may think i'm promoting the sale. Seems like you've been watching the listing frequently like me .
