I only missed a couple of filters that i want to hear again but thanks anyway. I remember they were sold there but i don't see them there now. My flc8s is still working fine after a couple of cable changes.

I read the first pages and got confused. I know the 1/8 rule for amps and headphones. Btr3 has 0.333 output impedancd according to fiio. Why it shouldnt be usef with a 5 ohm iem?

Just do the forrest's procedure in reverse. Push it from the big nozzle with the white part facing down

Yup i didnt like it and reverted it... I think my filter was misaligned before i took it out now it's all good i can see the white thingy

I just did it ... One filter is longer than the other in my iems i assume doesnt make any difference but i like simmetry ha!...i will test it but I think i feel them more sibilant as first impression

so we just pushed it out? or is there something special to do?

He likes neutral iems so he is gonna rank those higher. e.g he thinks etymotic er4s is better than flc 8s .. I have both and er4s bass is no there although it wins in clarity. So I can't related to him I'm lost without the old trusty lJokerl since I can't audition myself cause I'm not in the US

I bought flc8s after your recommendation so i trust you 100% (you are same joker from the headphonelist right?) so i will buy it. I was looking for an upgrade for a while

where do you buy them? i did a quick google search and nothing edit: also how do they compare to the t88k? these i found on amazon

Is it me or the cables brake pretty often... I have gone through 2 original flc 8 cables, one third party and now the silver cable is starting to fail... Maybe it's the over ear design? ☹️

Maybe not exactly the same but no so different to replace the original flc8s... When you think what it is missing you can't think many things ... That's the problem when you do something so good... I bought it after reading ljokerl's review but I think he is now retired and I don't trust the...

My wild guess is that it will sound the same

I think the black gun filter gives more dynamic range Than gold with the right tip... I'm normally S but I found an L smooth tip works best

Hi.   I chose the wrong cable upgrade and headphone jack is too small (i chose the balanced cable) do you know if there is an adapter to make it a normal 1/8 jack>?

I stopped using the flc8 for 2 weeks i was on vacation... Then i started using them with red gray gold... Then i switched to gray and my ear is hurting now.... the air pressure got pretty high...im baffled

 How much? Like the gun one or more?

 i found this in his forrest's posts history      "@ajaxender is right! The sub filter controls leaking of the sub, the red one has no hole, no sub leaking, so it got the most Sub, the clear one has a big hole, the leaking is the most, so it got a weakest  Sub.The Bass filter controls airflow...

Does anyone else feel the flc8 performs noticeably better in lower volume?... first time i feel this with an iem
