I will be getting a dt880 pro. Which one has a better value and would you suggest I get.

So I was planning on getting multiple mid-fi headphones: Q701, AD900x, and DT990 (or 880) but I was wondering if it would be better to just get one hi fi can such as the HD700 instead. I will probably get a magni/modi too.

So I was wondering, why would some manufacturers choose not to have detachable cables? It seems that it is not that costly to implement and it doesn't seem like there are any negative aspects.

I can get the M100 for $230 and the DT990 pros 250 ohms+ E07k for about $240. Which one would be better for classical and pop. I know there are better cans for classical but these two seem to have the best values.

I can get a pair of m100's for $230. At that price range is there a better option. I need something that can be driven without an amp. I'm fine with open cans too.
