I couldn't tell the diff either. There were some differences on the treble end with the eh6922 and the eh6cg7. Other than that I didn't hear much diff

  i have all three of these tubes - the sylvania stock tube, JJ E88CC and the EH6922 - also the EH 6CG7 - initially the 6CG7 is a bit loose in the treble (distortion?) - the 6922 sounded, at least initally, like the JJ and the sylvania.  but the more i listened to 6922 - after maybe 10 hour...

have you at least auditioned the headphones?

  i'm running a modi 2 uber with the Vali 2 - i have the first magni and modi also - i haven't done an A/B comparison - but i'm not sure i hear a difference between the vali 2 or the magni - which may or may not be "bad"  -- just my ears - i may have burned the stock tube in about 8-9 hours...

i got the Audio Technica ATH-WS1100 while in japan late last year

No hiss either. Expecting other tubes to roll and I'll see about those but so far pretty quiet.

been listening to the Vali 2 on Modi Uber DAC - no noise or hum - headphones m50s, Ath-WS1100, and dt-880 pro 250O.  very quiet - stock tube, crappy cables and belkin power surge protector. on low gain.

i got the dt880 pros and it came with a nylon bag.   paired it with the M&M schiit - great sound - maybe a little bit treble heavy but it could be my ears but that really lends to clarity.   The M&M stack is crystal clear - no hiss or anything - i really like them. i haven't stopped...

i would just hook the ps4 to a home theatre receiver - and use the headphone jack off the receiver.   that's better than having a 99 dollar paperweight you weren't gonna use - or just keep it and use it.

i just got my modi and magni this week - modi is USB only - no optical nothing but USB.

looks like you need a 3.5 mini plug that splits into left and right RCA plugs plugged into the lineout from the e10 and out to the magni.  i don't have the e10 so i had look up what kind of output it had- i have the fiiO e07K andes as a portable.    i also recently bought the M&M schiit stack...
