Best Smartphone for audiophile
Does anyone know how the Xiaomi Mi5S (Plus) and LeEco Le 3 Pro sound (yes, I know the latter doesn't have an iPhone jack). Looking for a newer phone to use for software modding and audio. I know the LeEco uses their own CDLA lossless output via the type-C port, and the Xiaomi appears to have...- nimano45

Best Closed Back/Semi Open Headphones under $300
Check out the V-Moda M100s with the XL pads. More comfy, much better built, easier to carry around (in its small carrying case). The sound is also good IMO, its fairly bassy and lively and fun. Did noy like the build of the HP50, and the fit was so-so for me. The M100 are around 300 for the...- nimano45

Speakers on a 200-300$ Budget.
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LSR305 These are $300, best sound in the price range. I don't recommend using them directly from your computer. They are active, so no amp needed. I recommend the Schiit Modi DAC ($99) if you Don't make music.- nimano45

AKG new headphone K545?
The only thing that matters in terms of sound is neautrality and accuracy. I am not a sound engineer, so I don't need something dead-neautral. Do you think that the HP50's are better for this purpose?- nimano45

AKG new headphone K545?
Would you recommend these as a headphone for both studio use and personal listening. I listen to and produce edm and rap. To save you some trouble; I don't like the looks and fit of the K550's and I have some serious comfort issues with the Focal Pro's.- nimano45

Comparisons: 36 of the Top Closed/Portable Headphones Around
I've heard a lot about them and they appear to be really suited to my needs, but my ears are on the larger side. My ears are on the larger side, and since the Pro's cups are a bit small, I am worried about the fit and comfort. And since they are only available online here in Norway, I can't try...- nimano45
