i find my hd800 left earphone has a little more bass "punch" than the right side which most evident when there's very intense pounding bass. my 600 has more punchy bass but doesn't handle intense bass like the 800.

jeremy mentioned to me they no longer offer the option of installing a max module in a desktop amp on newly purchased amps. you can still upgrade an amp you already own though.

the ultra micro don't have the high freq filter switch like on the desktop models. i've heard the current HR crossfeed don't impact high freqs as in previous crossfeeds did but presumably there much be some degree of impact if HR still has the switch on the desk top models. can anyone comment on...
