Does this unit has variable output impedance, what levels are there? It is described as being "Dual Monaural", how does this impact sound? I would be using this amp for games as well so if I'm curious if this might have an affect on positional audio.

My NFB 11.32 seem to have died, for a week or so now it has randomly shut down only to start back up a minute later.. but today it seems like it has gone completely silent and won't start at all. Has anyone else had this issue ?

I'm looking for a pair of closed over-ear cans for semi portable use, I will be plugging these in to a Xperia Z3 Compact.. will they require more juice or will my phone be up to the task? Do they isolate well?

I've been using optical with this thing since I bought it, I've had issues with USB on other devices before so I didn't want to waste my time with it. Are there any major advantages to USB over optical?

I still use my ancient Siberia headset whenever I need a mic for gaming, I'm also looking for a decent K702 mic solution so I can get rid of of it. A custom cable with a mic attached to the XLR jack would be ideal but it doesn't seem like an easy thing to put together.

There are no vents on top, I have the 11.32, version 2? maybe I should drill some holes.

This thing gets really hot, anyone had overheating issues with it? I have it on for roughly six hours every day.

Honestly I'm not sure what kind of sound I'm looking for, I guess I'm not looking analyze sound, I want them to "sound good" for the type of music I listen to.   Music source is primarily mp3@320 and some FLAC (which I'm looking to invest more in), through Audio-GD NFB-11.32.
