The variable numbers are indeed concerning.    It might be a good idea to take a more scientific approach and have some write a quick procedure on how to test the drivers to normalize the results.  If enough people participate the data would mean a little more.

 I have seen the V200, EF-5, burson 160D, Nuforce HDP, lyr and asgard mentioned in this thread.  From that list I I think I have things narrowed down to the v200, the 160D, and the asgard.  I don't really like the look of any tube amp currently available and would rather not deal with replacing...

After listening to both I would not accept anything less than the 325s in the grado lineup.  They enjoyed them much more in every aspect.   On the other hand I really couldn't find a drastic difference in the 125 vs 225 to justify the price difference between the two.  I'd argue to skip them...
