Anyone know if 160GB MK1634GAL hard drive will work with a 80GB 6th Gen Classic?
You can only install MK1634GAL in the Late 2009 160GB thin model. It is not compatible with any other iPod Classic- RayMusicLover

HD800 Story Telling Time - *Warning* Prepare thyself, not for the faint of heart - (You've been warned!)
Thanks MrScotchGuy and all contributing Head-Fiers, had me totally enthralled throughout, was getting frustrated waiting for the conclusion. I admit the suspense was worth it, just had to keep reading after that. I love the before and after photos, you look like the cat that got the cream I...- RayMusicLover

Sony PHA-1 portable DAC/amp
The PHA-1 is my main rig for listening to music on headphones, I can't say that the HD 650's were a bad combination but it just didn't really work for me, I bought the HD 650's after reading so many positive reviews here on Head-Fi, Not sure what to think really as I just don't have the...- RayMusicLover

Ultrasone Signature DJ
True love, these headphones are truly amazing, my best headphone yet and they win by a mile, my HD 650's don't come anywhere close to these babies, the Sig DJ's have the clarity that I had previously only dreamed about. they're exciting, fun, incredibly detailed & accurate, I use them almost...- RayMusicLover

Review by 'RayMusicLover' on item 'Ultrasone PRO 750'
Ultrasone PRO 750 S-Logic Surround Sound Professional Headphones Straight out of the box and I would say these headphones are really harsh, sound quality is not nice at all, lots of bass in there but really muddy & overall definition of sound is really poor, I think I like the sonic...- RayMusicLover

headphone warm-up time?
I'm glad I found this thread, Headphones & Amplifiers definitely need time to warm up, same goes for all amps & speakers Hi-Fi or Soundsystem, Headphones are just little speakers, I find it strange that this is not commonly discussed whereas burn in is well talked about.- RayMusicLover

Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium 25th anniversary edition review
"A wee Hank braver than you" I like that.... Initial thoughts are good but need a few weeks with them, too early for impressions, "Gimme Just A Little More Time". Initial feelings: very similar sound signature to the HD 25-1s, very posh packaging, swanky little case, That's all I'm saying...- RayMusicLover

PX200 II thread.
As great as these headphones are, the isolation is OK but not fantastic, as for durability I've never had a problem but my girlfriend broke two pairs, if you're heavy handed then maybe they're not for you...- RayMusicLover

Looking for Portable DAC that bypasses iPod DAC
DrSheep you are 100% spot on. Received it today and my initial thoughts "Wow!!!!!!! Incredible!!!!!" drives my HD 650's with ease, makes me like my P5's again. Only used it for a couple of hours, haven't had a chance to try out other headphones, I've had too put it on charge, need to wait (it's...- RayMusicLover

Review by 'RayMusicLover' on item 'Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Professional Headphone'
OK I've never reviewed headphones before but think that the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II are the perfect set to start out with, I really love these headphones, I think they look good and as for sound quality they are really great all round performers, great bottom end, good mids & good tops. I'm not...- RayMusicLover

You're entitled to your opinion, headphones are subjective, I personally love mine & I've got a massive head. clamping force never an issue for me. they will loosen a bit with time. by widening the distance between the two headbands I always find a comfortable fit. I love the way they sound...- RayMusicLover

Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium 25th anniversary edition review
I've always loved & owned the HD25-1's, recently I acquired a set of Amperior's with the sole intention of selling them, they were new but the seals were not intact so I decided to check out the contents, everything was good. Curiosity however got the better of me so I had to try them out, I was...- RayMusicLover

Is there a headphone with the same sound as the Shure SRH-840, only with more bass?
I had a pair of SRH 840´s and felt exactly the same as you, the sound quality was amazing but the lack of bass somewhat let them down, I also had the Sony MDR-1r (gladly I sold them recently), in my opinion the sound quality was not in the league of the 840's but the bass was pretty good, the...- RayMusicLover

Bowers & Wilkins C5 - Has anyone had success replacing the cable?
I have Bowers & Wilkins C5 In-Ear but the cable is really bad (right ear & jack plug). I may try shortening the cable where hopefully it is not damaged & resolder. Has anyone any experience of taking these apart? Is it possible to get decent replacement cable? Cheers!!!- RayMusicLover

Looking for Portable DAC that bypasses iPod DAC
Price of PHA-1 seems to be coming down on eBay, I just purchased one for $340.00 USD. free postage, waiting for it to arrive from Japan, paid with PayPal & it cost me £219.67 GBP, Head-Fi'er Shigzeo's review has me convinced that this will be a good first purchase, other possible contenders...- RayMusicLover
