I would go with the Darkvoice 336se for several reasons over the Little Dot.  The Darkvoice 336se, is mostly point to point wired, which lends itself to easier modding and repair down the road.  Also the tubes used a much easier to come by and much cheaper for NOS tubes.

As far as these variants, I have tried a bunch and this is the one instance were the Chinese 6n3t (taller version) is better than the NOS stuff out there. All of the NOS sound dull and boomy

I'm looking at picking up some high efficiency Klipsch Forte's or Chorus.  I've heard that these smaller amps shine through these type of speakers.

One more thing. Why is one leg of the heaters going to ground? I would.expect that with DC heaters but not AC.

I have been told by a reputable source that the only difference is better gauge wire in the headphone cable. I have a/b'd them extensively and can not hear a noticeable difference that I could identify which I was listening to.
