Audio Technica ATH-A900X Discussion Thread (Formerly A-900X Review)

I bought the headphones used, and yes the sound was off and had raddling with bass. Now the right side is fixed but the left still raddles

Audio Technica ATH-A900X Discussion Thread (Formerly A-900X Review)

I'm a bit upset with Audio Technica right now. I sent in my pair to get repaired and was told nothing was wrong with them although it's obvious that the sound is very uneven and the drivers raddle. They decided to replace the right driver but not the left, and now after paying $15 for shipping...

Audio Technica ATH-A900X Discussion Thread (Formerly A-900X Review)

Does anyone know Best Buy's policy for exchanging an item that they no longer have in stock, specifically headphones? I bought a pair of used a900x from a guy who has the Best Buy protection plan and he says that if I want to exchange them, then they'd upgrade me to the a1000's because of the...

Should I buy both the ath-a900x and the ath-ad900 for $200?

It seems like a good deal, but I didn't need the ad900 unless I can make some money off them

Should I buy both the ath-a900x and the ath-ad900 for $200?

So a guy on craigslist is selling both these cans for $200 all together. I'm gonna pull the trigger on the a900x because I have a warranty slip for them, but I honestly have no need for the ad900..but seems like too good of a deal. Any thoughts? I haven't went to check them out yet.

Audio Technica ATH-A900X Discussion Thread (Formerly A-900X Review)

Is anyone else still having problems with the volume being louder on one side? It's only slight, but enough for me to notice. I also got these from buydig

Help with choosing headphones in $100-$150 range?

I think the right side is slightly louder, I switched the headphones around (which actually sounds better) and now I feel more wiggle on my left ear.    I adjusted the sound and the left now sounds a tad louder, but more equal. Maybe I should send these in, here was a thread talking about...

Help with choosing headphones in $100-$150 range?

What's a good test to know if one is louder than the other? Majority of songs sound a bit louder on the left side, but it alternates depending on the song

What is better than the Sennheiser Momentum for the same price???

Yeah I noticed! Hey man, small issue that's driving me absolutely crazy. Do you notice that you have better hearing in one ear than the other? I think my right side does OR most songs favor some vocals on the right cup as you know songs alternate

Help with choosing headphones in $100-$150 range?

Yeah these are awesome, I'm still getting used to hearing sounds if that makes sense. I'm not used to noticing songs changing from different sides of the cups. I also thought my right cup was louder than my left but it seems like many songs alternate..correct me if I'm wrong

What is better than the Sennheiser Momentum for the same price???

I'm new to good headphones, upon putting on my a900x I noticed they make songs sound more honest. For example, if a youtube upload had poor recording the sound out my headphones will sound awful,is it me or did I just get a bad pair of headphones?

Help with choosing headphones in $100-$150 range?

They just came in today, only had a few minutes to listen to them. So far so good, I don't know why people don't like the wing system on these because it honestly feels like I don't have anything on my head. The left cup sounded a little muffled on lows, but then again my songs aren't the...

    WORST headphone you ever heard?

I'm guilty of that. I never officially released a review of any headphones, but when I won a pair of skullcandys I was so blown away by how different my music sounded. They definitely should add reviews with different music genres too; what sounds great for my music may not work for yours

    Got my headphones :D :D

Watch a scary movie with them on. The Insidious 2 trailer came on while trying to play music, and the sounds from my headphones alone made me jump

    WORST headphone you ever heard?

I know, I know. I was in the market for some headphones and saw that this community knew their stuff. Also it's a friendly board

    WORST headphone you ever heard?

I'm nowhere near an audiophile, so if headphones can play music they're good enough for me
