Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

I love them, I'm even getting used to listening to music on lower volume levels since with these the enjoyment ain't dropping by much at lower levels. How come you thought of me, even though you did 1000+ posts within this year? Unfortunately, a quick look on ebay.de and amazon.de...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

A bit more than half a year later, just wanted to let you know that it never gets boring listening to X2HR. Gave my friends a try, giving them a totally new different perspective of what good headphones actually sound like. An older friend of mine that has a master in violin was just knocked off...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

Sorry, I don't have so much time to check them up, or to try out the equalizer. The equalizer... equalizes lol, I'm quite happy with it, but I also don't mind the flat setting either. I watched a movie last night (The Hostiles) and they certainly bring up the heat in shootings, I just love how...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

I'm good with the listening levels X2HR provide with FiiO E10k. I already got these but i wish I could try them all... is there such a thing as audiophile meeting points? :dt880smile: Yeah, it took me a while to realize my EQ have reset half of the stuff for some reason... fixed it now I have...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

Not bad! It did just what you said! The preset sounds quite nice. I've installed EasyEffects on EndeavourOS. I've also picked the Low Shelf type for the 105Hz, others are Bell because there's no Peak... I suppose that's the same thing?

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

Thank you for the recommendation! I ordered the Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones 08.02. night, I got them 10.02. in the morning... I can't believe the Amazon shipping, it would take as much or even longer to order them within the country... I didn't have so much time but I did try the headphones...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

Yes, the Philips Fidelio X2HR (130€) is what I see being recommended in the description of a Youtube video as a Sony XM3 replacement. I will seriously consider them, and they're in the budget. Would the Philips Fidelio X3 (200€) be worth the 70€ price difference? Or maybe they're actually not...

Wish for headphones drivable by Fiio E10k: Punchy, Bassy, yet clear

Hi everybody! In my teen years I've been crazy for headphones but very limited to what I could get at that time. Now I got reminded of the times so I want to fulfill those dreams I had : ). I hope I'll be able to express what I'm looking for properly, though even I'm not exactly sure what I...

How about AKG K-99 on motherboard on-board DAC?

http://www.akg.com/K99+Perception-1039.html?pid=1193 Have anyone tried them on-board? Does they sound good enough, or should they sound better with Xonar DG (which has 10 Ohm impendance)? Is it worth it, or should I take higher impedance headphones and Xonar DG?

Cheap USB/SD Card player for old stereo system?

Pfff, for 100$ each I would rather rent 100 1$ hookers (or 1 100$ hooker, don't know). Anyway, I will stick with PC and Phones.

Cheap USB/SD Card player for old stereo system?

I understand what you mean, but everything that doesn't have 3.5mm seems that doesn't cost under 20$ Pro Audio equipment store has a lot of high priced stuff, and it doesn't have anything close to what I "need". The closest thing that would satisfy my needs is this...

Cheap USB/SD Card player for old stereo system?

Hi all. I have an old Technics EH770 stereo system, which is great, but it only supports CD's which can jam while playing if there are just a small scratchs. So I am asking you, is there some kind of a thing similar to an portable MP3 player, but which can read USB/SD (SD preferred), and can...

Review by 'spookymulder84' on item 'Asus XONAR DG CMI8786 Sound Card'

I bought this because i needed an AMP for my superlux hd681 headphones, so I bought this card because it was on my budget. I am really happy with it and with it's sound, and i could not switch back to my old onboard sound, which was best on the market, but pathetic in comparison with this...
