Just wondering, do people tend to bring their laptops or is it just unnecessary baggage? I mean to play music.

Oh yeah, I really want to get the Beyer 660s for my step dad while having a pair of good isolating IEMs (which is why I'm looking at the HF5's and perhaps the RE400s). I just figured if I could wait and save even ten dollars it might be nice.

I'm asking because I have not been into audio since the last one, and I can afford to wait two and a half months if it means that the DT660s, RE-400s, or HF5s go on sale. Thanks :D

It is a gift for my step dad. He only listens to classical music, and I have no clue what is good for classical. I'm trying to keep it below a hundred because I don't want him to feel like I blew too much money on them. The source will be from his car or computer and he'll be listening to them...

I'm pretty sure your HD600s are fine without a bass mod. There is enough of it.

Would the Amperiors or Momentums be a good complimentary pair of headphones to the HD600s? I need something for on the go listening (if only I could bring my HD600s outside right?).

Sigh. I can't figure out if I want to get Momentums or Amperiors to listen to on the go (will use HD600s at home). I like my HD600s so much, I figure I might like something else by Sennheiser. This is probably not great reasoning though!
