I received my lcd-x and wa7 today and have been listening for several hours. I have to say... I have been seriously blown away. The sound is incredible. I haven't been able to get rid of this silly grin on my face since I sat down and started listening. 

My lcdx and wa7 are coming in tomorrow. Do you guys think a custom cable is worth it? I know its kind of a hot topic.

for gaming i couldnt recommend the k702 65th annies enough.

the m100s are amazing. i mainly listened to stuff to electronic stuff like dub and psychedelic through them it was great.

I've been seriously considering the lcdx. But after reading some initial reviews I may as well splurge for the lcd3s. Will the wa7 pair well with audeze headphones?

Good to hear! Did you get the gunmetal or black? I see they have a wait list on the Grey so I may just get the black. And if so, do you like the way it looks?

  Hey thanks for the detailed response! They sound comfortable enough. My main issue was my ears getting hot but it doesn't sound like the case with these. In overall sound quality, are these a huge improvement over the AKGs? 

  This is what I need to hear! I have the k702 65th and was wanting an upgrade and was looking at these. I was considering the microsuede pads those as I game/ listen to music for long sessions. How are they comfort wise to the k701s?

I use Spotify to find music and for casual listening then usually download flacs of stuff I really enjoy and listen with musicbee :-)

I recently purchased the stealth dc-1 as an all around solution to my stereo speaker and headphones. I have the AKG k702 annies and they also pair very well with the dc-1.
