Yeah, I was surprised that it got hot rather than warm. Just to clarify, it’s warm when I touched the player with the case on. I took the case off and removed the sdcard and the copper surface was “hot”

I managed to try out the RS6 today at the dealer. Using screen brightness of 90% at medium gain vol=25, listening to a bunch of flacs on my sdcard inside the leather case, the unit did get quite hot at the end of a 35mins listening session, is that in line with everyone’s experience? Also...

Doesn’t bother me at all, especially when I realised my iPhone 12 Pro does the same thing. The biggest win for me is the form factor and weight, I find myself using it a lot to take notes

Lightning cable? I thought RU6 is not MFI certified and MacBooks don’t have lightning ports???

@Andy, I currently have the N3pro and using it primarily with IEM (fender ten 5). What’s sort of sound signature and sound quality difference would I expect upgrading to N6ii + R01, and N6ii-ti for that matter. Thanks!

Mine does it when I add music by navigating the folder with too many levels of sub folders in it. The exact number of levels when this will occur depends on how many songs you have. At the moment with 9000 songs in my card, I can have 3 levels of sub folder without encountering this issue.

Hi Andy, No it is not the case. In my tests, I literally have the folders named “L1”, “L2”, “L3” etc... The issue doesn’t occur when I reduced the number of levels from 5 to 4. I can keep the number of levels at 4 and have longer names for the folders and it’s fine.
