Happy 70th Birthday Mick Jagger!
Judging by some videos I think he does. Pretty funny that's he's still on stage, because I think he was one of the people who criticized older people still trying to perform, but I might be wrong on that one. All the same, good going, can't believe these guys are pushing into the 70s and still... -
Freddie Mercury Vocal rankings
Freddie Mercury was certainly cool and Queen was an awesome band, but I don't know if I'd rank him in the top ten for male vocalist. I think there is a lot of vocalist out there that top him, but got to give him props for generally being awesome. -
R.I.P. JJ Cale
Man, another great artist we lost this year. This guy really was a legend so he will definitely be missed by many fans as well as the people who were close to him. He certainly left a lot of music behind to continue on with his legacy. -
Can anyone ID this mark on my Dali prints
There's a button two icons in front of the paperclip that will allow you to post a picture. You could also upload it elsewhere and leave a link so that we can see. I'm curious as to what it is too, can't wait to see!- Argax

how many of you guys cook???
The George Foreman grills were awesome. I remember having some of the best chicken on that thing. I think there's a lot better on the market now, but at the time this thing was one of the best things when you didn't have your own kitchen and didn't feel like fighting with roommates.- Argax

Looking for a new game
Have you thought about playing Defiance? It's a pretty massive game, but I've noticed the game has been down a lot, so I don't think have worked everything out quite yet. It might be fun for you though.- Argax

Etiquette 101: How to behave at a classical concert.
I agree. You should dress to impress when you go to see a classic concert. I also think you should spend some time going over general etiquette like stated in other previous posts. That being said, what concerts has everyone been going to lately?- Argax

YOUR PERCEPTION - GUT FEELING: What do different languages sound like? And what is the most beautiful sounding spoken language?
When I was studying German I was very enthralled with the language and thought it was fun to make the sounds. Studying French was fun too, but my voice doesn't naturally want to work as if I am singing, so I have a hard time with pronunciation. I find Korean to be comforting, largely because I...- Argax

Sick of CGI movies?
I wouldn't mind the cgi as much if there was a good story behind it. I find a lot of movies just rely on the cgi which makes the movie boring. At first seeing the technology was cool, but after awhile it just got really tedious to see all the things they could be doing but arent because they...- Argax

How Do I Gain Basic Physical Coordination Skills?
Have you tried yoga? I have always been on the klutzy side of the spectrum, as most of my family is...When I started taking yoga I gained a lot of balance, which I've noticed has gone away since I've been a bit lazy. You might also try the offroading idea like someone else suggested, so you can...- Argax

The Return of HOSTESS!!!!
I'm not a huge fan of Twinkies or Hostess, but I do plan on having a cupcake in the name of sweet baked goods freedom when the items are back in stock. Of course, it might be hard to find them at first cause I figure people will stock up like crazy. The cupcakes were a big deal when I was a kid...- Argax

What Are Some of Your Favorite Sad Songs
One of my favorites is It's a Wonderful Life by Sparkle Horse. I mean, sure, they steal a few lines from the Velvet Underground on the song but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I guess. The music is slow, the lyrics are touching and the song can depress in no time flat. -
Do you listen to mainstream music?
I don't like a lot of modern bands. With the exception of Adele, Mumford and Sons and Of Mice and Men I tend to listen to things that were popular decades ago. Bob Dylan was sort of mainstream and we all know how great his stuff was. I guess it's a matter of opinion. If I like something I won't... -
The 10 Most Misquoted Songs
I can imagine that REM's End of the World has come pretty awesome misquotes available. Some of the songs on the list don't make a whole lot of sense though. For instance TLC's Dont Go Chasing Waterfalls...I'd say that one is pretty easy to figure out. -
How fast does the gum heal after a tooth extraction?
I think it depends on the person. I've only had my wisdom teeth extracted and they had to cut one out of my head so I got stitches. It didn't seem to take look long for them to heal up though. The stitches were taken out a week after the extractions and I don't remember there being a hole or...- Argax

Best Band Or Artist By Decade
I'd have to agree with a lot of these choices. The Beatles were great in the 60s, but I also really loved Dylan. As far as the 70s go, I'd have to say the Clash and they had a pretty good run in the 80s too. I do like REM in the 80s though. Nirvana is 90s pick. The 2000s...would have to... -
Who is your favorite violinist?
Yann Tiersen is one of my favorite musicians period, but I love when he plays the violin. I went to one of his gigs and was sort of disappointed he only did one song with the violin. I also really enjoy Lindsey Sterling. It might be my inner geek, but listening to video game music in violin is... -
Geoguessr - Let's Explore the World!

Laptops??
If you're looking for a laptop just for the basics then there's a wide selection to choose from. I usually end up with HP just because they tend to run cheaper, but go with what you can get a deal on. You might want to look into buying more memory though, other than that you should be good to go...- Argax

Tablet stolen, thief identified, cops apathetic--now what?
Wow. Props on getting the information you did get. I'd say there is nothing you can do, unless you happen to catch the guy at the library on your tablet. You have the number for the tablet so as long as you could prove it was yours you might have a case. Sorry for the loss. It is best to always...- Argax

Would you recommend Half-Life and/or Half-Life 2?
I'd recommend you play both! You'll probably get a whole lot out of playing both of the games and if you play them in order then you might get more out the advancements in Half Life 2.- Argax

Pink and Blue and Gender, Oh, Mary!
Thanks for sharing. This topic is really interesting as I always hated being tagged with colors as a kid. Generally, I didn't like blue or pink but other hues. I think one of the main reason people choose those colors is because they are raised to do so.- Argax

Is Music a Drug?
I wouldn't say that music is a drug. After all, it doesn't work the same for everyone. I'd say it is form of art and just like any art it has the capability to inspire us to feel certain ways.- Argax

Best iPhone Games
Has anyone played The Plague game? You basically come up with your own plague and try to kill off the population? Pretty sure it is rigged as I have killed off the population numerous times, but have never won a single game. Still, this game is so addicting.- Argax
