Would You Consider V-Moda Italian or American?

The founder is Italian and the advertisements say "Inspired in Italy"... But it was developed I believe in California and assembled in china.   I will say though that the durability, quality, engineering, innovation and performance is something defiantly not American but feels like a mix of...

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

Quote:   I gave a reasoning behind why I think people are dumb for spending that much money on Bose headphones. Specifically the sound quality and durability.   I didn't do the following...  "Says the guy who thinks so and so headphone is flat or warm or bright" to try to imply that...

Quote:   Says the person who claims QC15 have forward mid-range, better treble and highs than the V-Moda 100. Even the Crossfade LP's are much much more detailed and balanced than the QC15. And the LPs by the way are very bass-heavy to me. Still good but defiantly not flat yet they are...

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

Do the v-moda m-100's lack kevlar for the two wires that between the left and right earcups? or do they have them?   If they left them out, they should have really put them in or at least than not have exposed the wires outside the headphones.   PS. Bose have anything but mid-range. All...

Quote:   This is exactly the theory and possibility I brought up on these headphones being able to bring out bass which other headphones are incapable of doing.

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

Ok..   I again tried the v-moda m-100 and the v-moda m-80 together to compare with classical music.   My intital analysis remains the same. The M-100 is much much more flat than the M-80. The M-100's bass is much more well-controlled, balanced and much less muddy. It's there when it's...

I guess maybe it is just me than.   Also technical details and FR graphs along with other technical measurements do usually tell a lot about a headphone but not always.

Quote:   At least to my ears.   I've tried my many other flat headphones like the 600hms DT 880 (of my friends) with proper sources, amp/dac and good quality audio files of well-recorded classical music.   The m-100 to me are quiet flat. Sound quality however is not as high as the...

I think even if these headphones were swapped with HD800 drivers, you guys would look outside that they are the V-moda M-100 and then start judging what the inside will sound like... "overpowering bass"...   I think there should be blind test studies on what people think about the sound. One...
