For that, I have first remove Dawn V2 and it is not happening using "Past_StockRevert_packages_WM1_20_09.zip" provided on mrwalkman's website. Exe to remove it runs fine but player keep showing up dmp V2 under unit information.- sandsha2

Sony Walkman custom firmware (non-Android)
Hi @MrWalkman , How can I remove external tuning for Dawn V2? The "Past_StockRevert_packages_WM1_20_09.zip" doesn't have exe for removing tuning files. My wm1a was factory reset by my son and language changed to Japanese. Tool from rockbox.org is not helping. After restarting the player...- sandsha2

Moved back to Dawn FEv2 as I love detailed treble and it was little more laid back than my liking on midnight.- sandsha2

Installed FEv2 to do few comparison against midnight+ and now not able to move back to midnight+. Felt that bite is better on FEv2. Tried multiple IEMs like QDC 8sh, Fearless S8F with silver and OCC litz copper cables but results were same. Region is set to J on WM1A.- sandsha2

So I finally took the plunge and bought 8sh, could someone please let me know which cable is most suitable for full sound with extended treble? I didn't get option to choose cable while ordering. I do also love large soundstage and holographic imaging.- sandsha2

@MrWalkman , As most will use + version, could hold “down” be made to load it instead of classic? We will then not require to change hold position as screen is kept active always.- sandsha2

@MrWalkman I was going through the old thread where initially the mods and processes were mentioned. There I found the information on 1a/Z+ firmware and importance of model switcher. I downloaded the firmware from the link in your signature but the new link and instruction do not have anything...- sandsha2
