In all of the pictures I see the Asgard 2 above the Birost etc., and now that I have really limited desk space I'd like to change their orientations to both standing at. Will this be fine for the heatsinks? I can't seem to immediately find anyone who does this.

Thanks for all of the replies, everyone! I decided to grab another pair of AH-D600s. I wanted something super colorful and the 1540's are a tad bit expensive since I didn't see them anywhere for less than $500. Once this pair goes goes out I think the 1540s will be their replacement.

I have already tried going up and down and making bends in the cable. There are absolutely no changes in the audio no matter where I bend. I can't bend where the cable splits, however. There could be an issue there. I have already checked the internal connections to the drivers. Those are fine.

I did get a bit of debris out of the driver area, but I didn't clean them too intensively (I only took apart the cup and didn't directly fiddle with the driver too much). I should probably also add that the bass response in the cup that cuts out is actually much, much, worse than the bass...

I have the new card and plugging in my Bifrost via USB only brings up the USB speakers.

I guess that confirms that there was a revision. I'm curious as per what improvements/changes were made from V1 to 2.30 to Uber.

That's strange. I updated my last post with the exact text that is on the Bifrost (Bif4399ana V2.30)   I do think there may have been an unannounced revision. The version on my MB is 1.25 while most of the images I can find are still on 1.0. Perhaps the V1.25 Bifrosts come with the Uber...

As far as I am aware I do not have the Uber board. I got my Bifrost in late January (after about a one-month wait on backorders) and I haven't upgraded it since. Edit: Bif4399ana V2.30 is what is printed on the board
