Pads or headphone?

It's not the clamping force you have to worry about but the stock pads (but they get better over time). It's really comfortable overall. I tried some in Tokyo and they're wonderful

I'm heading to Japan in a week and am just wondering where this is cheapest in Tokyo? Heard my friend's the other day and have fallen in love... Also, any other headphones that are cheaper in Japan?

I'm not exactly extremely experienced but I think that an iPhone 5 would be adequate for portable use, especially if you're looking at the M80 (very easy to drive). Of course you could always get an amp or buy another player if you want (not to experienced with sources, sorry)

I think that these will be great and they look beautiful... Funny that they release an on-ear version when, for some people, the original was basically on ear...
