Head-Fi Boston Meet?
^ Alright! We could start to plan this meet/showcase. We just need someone to offer a place or access to a decent sized area for the meet. I think we could do this early/mid August. -
Head-Fi Boston Meet?
Any head-fiers here in Boston? Would love to organize a meet if anyone's down. Would just need someone to offer a place. I'd bring a couple mid-fi gems: MA900, M1060, DT 150, etc.- HollowNoise

Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread
^This, I own the MA900 and the R70X and they sound like an improved MA900 on most aspects minus the soundstage. They have a warm-ish sound with good detail, really good bass that reaches very deep, very similar in comfort if the earpads fit you well and they manage to have pretty good imaging...- HollowNoise

Hello my MA900 community, I was wondering which are the best DAC/Amp I could pair these with? I would like to keep the signature warm, good detail retrieval and would love to open up the soundstage even more. These headphones are 12 Ohms and very sensitive, which means I need to make sure that...- HollowNoise

Best Open-Back Headphones for Gaming under $300?
Quote: Thanks for the feedback on the AD900X, that sounds like a good idea (having a different phone for music and gaming) but I think I'm sticking with just one headphone, I have heard good things about the DT 880/990, seems like these two are on the fun side and have a proper bass, but...- HollowNoise

Quote: Well, what do I say? That sounds good to me since I'm looking for a happy medium between fun and competitive headphones, I also like to get immersed in my games and I like warm phones, so it sounds just about the right headphone for me :) Any other headphones similar to the HD 598?- HollowNoise
