That's fine for me then ,will stick with I,ve got and enjoy my tunes.  I Think upgrading my source and moving away from a pc soundcard to a standalone Dac might be the best way forward before I consider an amp then.

Will any Mini MicroSD Card Reader for Android work on x5 and what firmware version do you require on x5 for OTG? Will adding e12 to the mix help power my dt990 250 ohms cans a bit better or alot better? if so I,ll be selling my ipod e17 combo I was using and buy one

Thats a fairly big problem for me also as I have hundreds of sacd albums ripped to  24/88/176 flac  .It would be nice to know if fiio are looking into this and if they intend to support 24/88/176 flac.

I have a lot of high res music including some sacd ripped to flac  .Has anyone tried 88khz and 176khz flac  these on their x5? fiio supports 192khz and 96khz  I,m not sure about 88khz or 176khz though.will the device re sample and play these files or should I rip my sacd files to 96khz  instead?

Yup tried that   I read somewhere to use either 176khz or 88khz Because the frequency at which dsd is sampled will divide exactly with 88.2 or 176.4  original sacd iso=3.2gig         converted to  flac  176khz=1.47 gig 88khz=998mb  . they sound the same to me burtomr almost 500mb smaller too...
