I use 12 PRO MAX with LP W2 dongle....game over DAP.... Just got the HELM BOLT... iphone/dongle 2.. DAP 0. Good for inside and outside.

I'm trialing the Z1R's also with LPW2, was thinking of also the U12T, but seeing this I won't bother. Maybe the new EE EVO....

So far for me, I don't have disconnects nor dropouts but let's see, maybe wear and tear will affect the cable.

Just received my W2 last week and using both the dongles supplied to my iphone (L to C) and ipad (C to C) (both black). I guess they fixed it because I don't get that problem. The only problem is battery drain from my 12 Pro Max.

What's wrong with the supplied adapters with the W2?

Xperia III you mean? I preordered it but when I saw a demo in the store I canceled the preorder. Didn’t like the form factor and yes the screen rotation is annoying. I tested out the HP jack with z1r, Nothing special.

Spinfits have better clarity. Foams better isolation.

Don‘t really see a huge problem with a dongle. Beats carrying around a DAP.

W2 is the cleanest for iPhone. Just the USB-C - Lightning and dongle. There is a bit more drain on battery life. DAPs are no go for me. Don't want to carry two devices.

Using Sony Z1R balanced, stock everything. At the moment Apple Music. Also have TIDAL and Deezer. Happy with this combo. Might keep Tidal to use with my KEFs. I have a Helm Bolt DAC coming, so will test with that also.

I use IPhone Pro Max with LP W2. I tested the new Sony X 3, despite have a headphone jack, the sound was inferior.

The stock cable is fine.

Don't tinker for tinkering sakes. The stock cables and tips are perfect!
