I just found out that some USB 3.0 ports don't support FS devices.  Mine don't and when plugging this DAC into one of those ports I get a blue screen.   Plugging it into a USB 2.0 port and the sound is great.  Just thought I would share in case someone else runs into this issue.

I have an HTPC setup where I've ripped terabytes of DVDs and well over 500 CDs.  I've added Airmotiv 5s to my system and it's not very obvious that I need better sound output then comes standard with my motherboard. The options seem to be the Asus Xonar Essence ST or an external USB DAC...
