The Beyerdynamic T51p Discussion Thread
No worries. Checked the drivers, and all is fine. I did notice that after about 100 hours burn in at moderate to high volume, the low end really extended. What used to be really tight and well defined bass is now much more relaxed and in some instances quite boomy. Anyone else...- Saif

Need help for my T51p
Yeah it was an accident. I fell over in a very elaborate fashion and decided in a split second hands should land in that position instead of the headband. Anyway, these aren't flat drivers. they have a piece of rounded plastic on the top. Kind of like a diaphragm but solid plastic. I...- Saif

Need help for my T51p
I just bought these. Yesterday, I accidentally applied firm pressure with both my thumbs on the inner lining of each ear pad, just over the drivers. I felt them give a little, and I'm worried i may have damaged something. Is this possible ?- Saif

Thanks. Col, what kind of music did you listen to with the t51p? I'm looking for headphones that perform well with EDM, RnB, Hip Hop, but also the occasional classical piece From your experience would you say this is a good fit?- Saif

Comparisons: 36 of the Top Closed/Portable Headphones Around
Thanks for all your replies. Pm-3 are a bit pricey for me at the moment otherwise would be a no brainer. So it looks like MDR-1A or t51 as a previous poster suggested. I really can't decide. Could you perhaps go in to a bit more detail regarding the differences in sound as I've got no way of...- Saif

Please help me choose, going around in circles!
Thanks. From my understanding the msr7s have more of a treble focused sound than I am after. The momentums also I've heard are on the analytical side. I've listened to the momentum 2 on ears which were far too harsh for my liking. Not sure if this is different with the over ears, but I'm...- Saif

JVC HA-SZ2000/1000 Impressions Thread
I'm going to buy the sz2000s and 55x pads. Will they be OK driven by an e07k? This is the only amp I have. If not, what is a good solution? Bear in mind I need a portable DAC and an amp. Price is not really an issue- Saif

Ok great. Thank you so much for your help. Since I've got your attention, what about the V-moda m100? Would you say the e07k is a good amp to drive those and will do them justice? Thanks- Saif

Need advice on my DAC / amp dilemma !
Also may I add that i am under the impression that a V moda m100 will be a good choice for more rounded bass orientated listening. So i need a solution that will power both of these headphones.- Saif
