I am trying to get my brand new Ifi iDAC to work with an Asus Eepc laptop using Windows 7 starter edition. I downloaded, unzipped it, double-clicked setup and it says I need a certain file. Please help!

The HiFi 2400 from Ultrasone really are taking forever to break-in. On top of that, they gave me 2 cables. A 3.5mm and a 1/4 inch. Both have screw-in 3.5mm male terminations that preclude any other cables being used. Could I do this? Amp > 1.4" to 3.5mm > coupler > 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm > headphones...
