I'm on my computer most of the night and afternoon tomorrow. I'll mess around with the EQs before contacting them. Lastly, thanks for your help. You've been really helpful :)- Sukhdev

HD700 Issues
Haha, I forgot to put a comma or two in there. I meant once I saw your reply about loudness I remembered. But yeah, I remember the metal thread. I've already contacted Sennheiser on the issue and all they said was to send it in. I'll try giving them a call tomorrow again. Might be better...- Sukhdev

HD700 Issues
I have to crank the dial up at least halfway and have my player sound over 3/4 to get something I'm comfortable with. I was using the m50x to compare the loudness and realised once you said that the m50x don't need that much to be driven. That's one of my fears. I don't want to have to pay...- Sukhdev

HD700 Issues
I purchased my pair over 2 months ago in April. But due to travelling, I haven't really had the pleasure of listening to them until just recently. So upon listening I noticed that they don't sound that great. It isn't really that loud and clear. The audio sounds somewhat compressed, somewhat...- Sukhdev

Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
Got my HD 700 yesterday and first impressions, these headphones are amazing. Hands down the best headphones I've ever heard. (First time leaving impressions, so apologies for the rough review) Firstly, all my tests were made with a Fiio E18 because I was unable to afford a better amp at the...- Sukhdev

Lets Talk Metal
Anyone know of any good blackened death metal bands similar to behemoth? I didn't mean to put down the whole sub genre. There are a lot of great metal core bands. I've heard a few of the bands you mentioned, I'll check out the rest thanks. -
Lets Talk Metal
Not really much into doom/stoner except for sabbath and electric wizard. Not sure what's new in those genres ATM. Got any reccomendations? I guess I meant what's popular with "metal" fans. Metal core is real **** imo, just a bunch of kids who think metal is all screamo. Only a few metal bands... -
Progressive Rock?
Hmm... Wonder what I was doing in 2002. Probably listening to rap music on a crappy CD player (cringe) Haven't gone through the thread yet, but Incase no one mentioned. OP should check out opeth and between the buried and me if.. You know... OP is still looking for progressive music.... 12... -
Lets Talk Metal
I second that. Though I just started to listen to metal a few years ago, I covered most of the well known and not so well known bands. Just started listening to two bands I've been neglecting over the years. Behemoth and machine head are two amazing bands, and provided that well needed wow... -
Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
I norm I plan to use these mainly with my laptop connected to a fiio e18 until I can afford something more reasonable. The fiio e18 can take headphones up to 150 ohms. So I'm hoping they can drive the hd 700 so they sound reasonable- Sukhdev

Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread
I plan to get these headphones soon. Do they work well with portable devices and without amps? Was wondering because it may be a while before I can purchase a good amp, and don't want to regret my purchase until I do- Sukhdev

Need a recommendation for a headphone amp
I recently decided to buy a new pair of headphones (still deciding between the Meze 88 Classics and Sennheiser HD 700. I'm leaning more towards the 700 though) I was looking into some headphone amps and having a tough time finding a good amplifier that will work well with the 700 on a...- Sukhdev

Lets Talk Metal
Was checking out Phil Anselmo's new album Walk Through Exits Only (The amazon previews) and I can say they don't really sound that good compared to his older stuff. I think The Purple EP was poor in comparison to his Pantera and the beginning of Down days. In my opinion, he can't top Nola when... -
Why do you people spend hundreds of dollars on headphones
Seriously? Why do people spend a lot of money on beats? Because they're a fashion item and aren't for serious music listening. Any 20-60 dollar headphones will do a better job then beats- Sukhdev

Quote: I don't know. There was some songs and lyrics in Kendricks were some that I didn't hear anywhere else. About Kanye, I really like his albums (started liking him after Graduation), his style of rapping and background, his best album imo is 808s and Heartbreaks (at the time... -
Your 5 newest CDs (or LPs)
I love it. I think it's a great album, it has a lot of quality tracks and variety in its sound. I don't really get why so many hate the band. I don't really care about the way their dress, as long as I think their music sounds great -
Cheap band websites: what are they?
Not really sure about that one. But I think soundcloud should be a good option -
W/Rap Sucks 2.0..............................Rap/HipHop Appreciation Thread.
I remember I use to love Rap/Hip Hop. Then I moved onto Heavy Metal music and left rap behind. But I'm not very fond of most of the stuff releasing out now (All sounds a bit the same to me) but I've heard a couple of stuff in the past years that make me appreciate rap. Albums like Good... -
Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)
I was checking out some other bands from Japan after loving Loudness (from Japan) and stumbled upon another metal band called Deathgaze, really great band as well, and haven't been dissapointed by metal from Japan. They can rock out just as well as any other country -
