~AKG K618DJ~ Discussion & Review Thread
My Mrs has bought me a set of the K619's for my birthday so I need to wait 2 weeks to get them. Thankfully though she's a kind soul and let me have a quick listen last night. I should say that these are my first pair of "proper" headphones although I have been quick to ditch the buds which...- Churchill81

The Basshead Club
Quote: What would be your recommendations for something up to $300-ish. Something with decent mids as vocals play a big part in a lot of music I listen too. Interested in the AKG K267 and Pioneer HDJ-2000.. Thanks- Churchill81

AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
Not pulled the trigger on the purchase yet so finding these reviews helpful. I thought the switchable bass would suit me because although I listen to a lot of rock/indie/punk there's times when I need bass in my life. How do you guys think these would do with the genres I mention above? ...- Churchill81

Best full headphones for mainly listening to punk/rock but also classics: beatles etc
Sorry to bump this thread. I listen to the exact same stuff as mentioned above along with a bit of pop, hip hop, dance etc. Can anyone recommend a good closed can for this? Had a look at the K167 and the reviews mentioned the mids aren't as strong so considering the K267 but there...- Churchill81

AKG K267 or what to buy.
Unfortunately I won't be able to offer much insight as this is my first pair of "proper" cans. My experience of upgraded products is only the sound magic e10 in ears which are a great, cheap, upgrade to standard in ears which come with mobile phones.- Churchill81

AKG K267 or what to buy.
Audiogon, I too am looking at the AKG K267, I'm taking the plunge and importing them from here http://www.jrrshop.com/akg-by-tiesto-k267-headphones (additional 10% discount using the code JRRFAN). Even with international shipping they're £100 cheaper. Hope this helps.- Churchill81

K550 vs M50
I'm having the same dilemma to be honest. How have you found the K550's? I can pick them up in the UK for £140 and I'm really, really tempted.- Churchill81

Comply foam tips?
I had the same issues with the E10's despite all the various silicone tips which come as standard. Bought the complys and it's made my listening experience much better. Still on the first pair after 6 months or so of use, they started to go hard but adding a little moisture has brought them...- Churchill81
