So I'm not really sure about getting them repaired... Its a used set and I lost one of the screws and the foam is degrading and the part that touches the ear is a bit off color... Should I just get a new one? The repair place apparently doesn't do head touching repairs?

Hi there. I have an old set of DT-770 Pro / 80 ohm headphones. I preetttyyy much like everything about them.  Build quality, circumaural status, sound signature, fit, isolation, everything.  Buuut they got damaged, and are more than a little old, and I have nooo idea how to get them repaired...

Won't those suffer the same stability issues re: not actually working? Ideally, if I could get a (different example of?) a Xonar DG working, I would use that...

Well, I *COULD* get a pci-e card, if I also bought a normal pci wireless nic that works with windows 7, rather than use the pci-e wireless nic I have now...   And I already have a headphone amplifier.  Also, putting the sound card back in my windows xp machine with the drivers installed...

I don't have any free pci-e slots... just normal PCI...

Hi there, I have some DT770-80's, and my Xonar DG seems to have some trouble working with my new Windows 7 computer.  I game and listen to some music on my computer. If I were to upgrade sound card, what would the next step up be?

Microphone is non-negotiable. I don't even want mention of ones without microphones.  And open is extremely strongly preferred.
