Looking for input on AKG K702
Hey guy's thanks for the great replies, luckily the modi/magni stack is solid state and I love it. I think you are totally right about being less nitpicky about burn-in and cables. They sound great now, and the music is what it's all about.- KaBAKZ

Looking for input on AKG K702
Ok so I am a long time reader of head-fi, but not really much of a poster. Recently I finally dropped some cash on some open-backed headphones, the AKG K702. I only have maybe 24 hours on them total. I am looking for the best ways to burn in these particular headphones. Also, I am looking...- KaBAKZ

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
I showed my younger brother my BH2 and TF10 setup and he was like "wow dude that's incredible!" most other people I show my headphones or earphones to are like "oh... Nice"- KaBAKZ

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Ok so in the end, I went with the BH2, purely because of its portability, which is a huge need for me. Funny though, I was actually considering the E12 before I even read the threads here about it. I just got the one that was smaller, because the only full size headphones I have are VModa...- KaBAKZ

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Ok thanks guys, Yea I only have the e11 and have not really been a huge fan of it, I think it distorts way too easily. As far as the BH2 goes, what are the three switches on the bottom for? (pardon my ignorance)- KaBAKZ

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Ok, so I just got them today and have been listening to them all day with a range of music. First off, I love them. My IEM's before this were the MEElec A151p, and TF10s (obviously) are a huge step up. As far as comfort goes, I did what I would assume is the flip mod (I switched the cable so...- KaBAKZ

MEElectronics Thread!!!
Ok, so I would like to add my two cents worth. I own only the A161p earphones and been listening to them almost exclusively (sometimes I listen to my V-moda Crossfades). I heard that Balanced Armature produced an accurate sound that to some may sound tinny. My Crossfades are pretty bass heavy I...- KaBAKZ

Thanks for the reply, I looked more into the A161Ps and I think I'm gonna go with them, they seem to fit what I'm looking for quite well. Does anyone have any build quality issues with them?? I will need them to last at least 6 months.- KaBAKZ

The A161P's look really good, and they are cheaper too, but are they much different from the HF5's? It seems like they are the same from what I'm looking at, but the A116's have more accessories, where the HF5 has better noise isolation. The R-50s look really great, but honestly I cant stand...- KaBAKZ

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum and I've been looking to buy a new set of in-ears after my old Sony MDREX58V ones broke. I am hoping to upgrade and my budget is no more than $100. I listen to music a lot, and I also am a musician and do some home recording, so I'm looking for something...- KaBAKZ
