[Review] Sennheiser IE800: Impressions, Frustration and a bunch of What-Ifs
Hi oHUTCHYo - I have both iems and one thing I would recommend is that you try and get a test of the ie800s for ear fit as this can seriously diminish your listening experience and sound quality. If you can get a perfect fit with the ie800s the sound brilliant, but if you are like me and they...- bertha

The Fiio X5 Thread
I have both the AKGs and ie800s and I prefer the AKGs - mainly because I can achieve a better seal with the earbuds but there is a lot of detail and a good balance to the sound for me. But I have also found the Westone 4Rs to be a great partnership worth trying at a much lesser cost. Regards...- bertha

The Fiio X5 Thread
At the risk of embarrassing myself can I ask a couple of potentially dumb questions please? When connecting the X5 to an amp - what type of cable do you use for the line out and where does it connect to? I'm guessing - a phono to phono connecting into an aux socket (or similar) And the...- bertha

The Fiio X5 Thread
Hi I was in the same boat - I pre-ordered at the start of the year and got the response from EA to hold on or Amazon would cancel and I kept the faith. My Fiio X5 pitched up last Thursday pretty much as promised :) It's a big beasty and I'm a bit worried about the longevity of the wheel but...- bertha

The New iRiver/Astell & Kern AK100: A High-End DAP
Hi all - been lurking around this forum for a wee while with great interest - I am considering a decent offer of an Ak100 and plan to partner this with a new pair of Heir Audio 5.0s, I have a headphone amp (custom job from ebay which I have found to be pretty decent but I'm no expert) although...- bertha
