    I do not need a powered USB Hub. The USB to SPDIF converter (Matrix) does not need one.   I know how to handle 96/24 files. My solution is working.   Bruno

    Another finding. I often use my ipad to listen to my music which is stored on my Mac mini. I connect via the app 'Music' to iTunes over wlan. Itunes is able to store music in 24/96. I can play these files with E17, it shows 96 kHz 24 bit. Bruno

    The "good old days"

    I built up JLH's balanced discrete amp. I did combine it with a natural cross feed. It sounds great with my new Senn HD650. I used some old BC414/416, polypropylene caps und Panasonic OS-Cons. It is worth to try this little circuit. The only problem is to obtain the low resistance pot (4,7k)...
