I meant get 2 sets. One for gaming and one for musical enjoyment. The ad700s can be had for well under $100. As to not limit yourself to getting something that's ok at both. Rather than one good at one and one good at the other.

It depends on positioning. If I turn my head sideways its not as good as straight on. It also does a pretty good job at trains. Not sure on planes yet. But I'll know that in December.

I wear y DT 770s everywhere. The metal headband makes me feel comfortable about them not breaking. They also block out a good amount of sound. Cutting the lawn it will probably block 60-70% of the lawnmower

Why not get a pair of something cheap like ath ad700s for gaming. I just got some brand new for $65. They're highly regarded among gaming communities.

In all honesty, that's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. To keep my DTs as my primary phones and get something cheap with great iso for lawn cutting and air planes and hat not.

I thought about the t50rps. I've heard they have great iso and gret price.

Might also add that I've had hd280s. Ath m50s. Bose qcs. The beyers are by far the most comfortable. The hds had the best iso but I hated te way they felt. I would prefer over ear vs on ear but again. No big deal there.
