I've had my pair for just a few months now and the right side has gone totaly dead. AKG sticks some card in the box telling me I have a 2 year warnty, but when I look at the akg website I find nothing. the link about the warnty just leads to a parts list. has anyone else managed to get them...

I had the same problem. Turned out to be a baddery, so i just sent it back and got the new E07k.

Dude, I hate to be the one to tell ya, but you riped both drivers in half. The clear plastic piece is suposed to be glued to that metal piece with holes in it. look up dynamic drivers to see what I mean sorry man, but they're dead......

I went and opened it up again and took all componets dealing with the drive out, cleaned um' and re greased, spins a bit cleaner now but still goes up and down. my dad sugested to see if the platter was level, turns out the whole thing was warped :-( any possible fixes? or essay replacmnt...
