KRK Rokit balanced sound out help

The distortion is most definitely coming from my speakers, the only time that it gets louder or lower is when I adjust the volume pot on the speaker itself, I've tried a range of settings and outputs and it always remains, weirdly enough it sounds fine outputting from my phone's 3.5mm. As for...

KRK Rokit balanced sound out help

Just got my KRK Rokit 8 G3's today, I connected them to my laptop with a 3.5mm to RCA LR cable and it had a noticeable distortion coming from the speakers so I went and bought a new one, same issue. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to run these using either XLR or TRS as I think the problem is...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

It seems like may be a bit too bass heavy, could you also recommend a few others just in case (I was considering UM as a possible candidate if that helps)   My primary genre is Acoustic, Alternative, Post-Hardcore, Punk and Ska with a primary focus on vocals.

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hello all, I'm in the market for a pair of CIEMs and have a budget of $1200, I am, however, looking for a specific sound. I have previously owned several pairs of Universal IEMs among which the Monster Turbine Copper had my favorite sound signature. After smoothing out the bass and bringing out...
