The AX's look like the perfect size and price.  Would it be okay to buy one AX5 and one AX7?

Are the Dynaudio BMs worth the money and better then most of the mainstream speakers at the <$1000 price range?  And do these have a colorful, amazing sound or are they flat like most studio monitors?
