I find the m50s to be a great headphone for around $130. They sound awesome with the e11. Don't know about the "soft bass," they certainly have good "thump" bass amped. At least that's what I think. It's all subjective though

536 songs, lossless. I don't even listen to half of them. But then again I don't get bored of things fast so I don't really have any desire to expand. I can listen to a song on repeat all day without getting bored of it.

"How the artist intended." The ONLY way you will kind of hear how the artist "intended" is if you have the exact same setup. And even that isn't an accurate reflection of how an artist wants it to sound. Exactly how they want it to sound is only in their head.

I agree with Mal's suggestions. And an e6 isn't exactly big, no need to worry about lugging it around.

I am sure our setups are different, causing the ringing peak in treble to differ. It is hardly noticeable for me. But yes, I fully agree with you on your statement that it is a bad quality to have in any audio setup. Quote:

You can spend a little more and get some Hifiman HE-400s instead.... It is worth it. Of course you would want a more powerful amp to power them for the best sound. As for the two that you asked about, I haven't tried the Dt770s, but the m50s are excellent for their price. And like GigaFi said...
