crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Viento-R is not available around me so I can't demo it. For Prophile-8 there's a shop carrying it so I'll check it out. And it is actually just $1400 there!, not a CIEM though. Thank you so much.- Spen Javer

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
Sorry, I forgot to mention my budget. I will definitely try it but it is way out of my budget range. Something around $1200 - $1500? Would QDC Gemini fit here? Thank you!- Spen Javer

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
What is the best CIEM for technical ability? I tested UERR and really like it but it just a bit of an upgrade from my current one with almost the same signature (UM custom molded TWFK + CI22955). I'm looking to try Custom Art FIBAE3/4, Lime Ears Aether/Model X. I'm a sucker for good highs so...- Spen Javer

CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread
Thank you. I want to buy myself X'mas gift, if the demo reaches Thailand in time I might go for FIBAE4 if it suits me. Anyway, What kind of sound signature should I expect out of FIBAE4?- Spen Javer

CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread
Just saw an instagram post about FIBAE4 prototype. How long will it be a buyable product? I almost got myself a FIBAE3 but decided I might have to hold a bit longer to test out the FIBAE4.- Spen Javer

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)
You just describe my dream ciem! FIBAE3 it is. An audiophile style sound imo is like, a bit boosted bass with warm vocal and natural highs without a lot of airiness. think Noble Kaiser. It's good for what it is but kinda not suit for what I listen to. A lot of Japanese rock/pop. Trance...- Spen Javer

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)
Thank you. That sounds interesting. Will pull a trigger on FIBAE3 cause my old triple driver UM sounds very similar to UERR but just a bit less detailed and I need a bit of change. A lot of high end CIEM are tuned towards audiophile style sound which I don't really enjoy. Hope it is the right...- Spen Javer

Spiral Ears SE6 introduced!
We all know what magic SE brought into our audio journey. If you are able to afford SE6, why not? I know I would pay for it if I have 2x money for that asking price.- Spen Javer

Need help on an upgrade for my CIEM journey
VE sounds quite natural but I want the sound more analytical with just a bit musicality in it. I know this might be a strange taste in how I like to listen to music but yea. If I got a chance to try a demo I will definitely give VE a try. Thanks!- Spen Javer

Need help on an upgrade for my CIEM journey
I'm using a remolded Rockit Sounds R-50 with a CI-22955 driver added using 2 separate tubes. Using Red acoustic filter on the CI-22955 (for bass) and Grey filter on the TWFK. The sounds came out quite flat with about 3dB bump in mid-low bass region. I would describe the sound of this pair as...- Spen Javer

Forget bass. I want treble.
Rock-it Sounds R-50. I still think it's the best in its price point for treble earphones (~$100).- Spen Javer

REVIEW: Fischer Audio DBA-02 MKII
One that I like. Personally prefer R-50 over DBA2 just for the neutral sounding and instrument seperation. DBA2 is much better in the bass region though. And the high is more forgiving. Anyway, great review! Exactly what I'll say if I gonna review it.- Spen Javer

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
It's a Reshell and 3 drivers upgrade from Unique Melody. Since they said they've never see this headphone before, I have to tell them which driver(s) it was (TWFK x2) and how I want it to be upgraded. I basically tell them I want Knowles CI-22955 added. I want subbass, but stays neutral like the...- Spen Javer

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Reshelling it works wonder. I added a subbass driver (Knowles CI-22955). The result is just perfect. The issue of R-50 sound mostly comes from fitting. Reshelling did the trick.- Spen Javer

Here's my Rockit Sounds R-50 remold. Upgraded to 3 drivers (added sub bass) Very happy so far. It hurts a bit when I first use it but it went away quite fast. Sounds impressive! They said they never done a remold on this headphone before so I have to design the sound by myself. ...- Spen Javer

I want to read more of Frogbeats C-4 Review (and C-5 if someone can). I want a CIEM which sounds like Rock-It Sounds R-50 with better clarity, same (or a little bit more) treble extension, more extended bass, greater imaging and better soundstage. Will C-4's going to do the trick for me...- Spen Javer

Sound differences between the ATH M50 black and white models?
I have tried my friend's M50. A/B-ing white and black versions and I couldn't tell the difference in sound. Since they're not mine so I couldn't tell you if it will be easily stained or how tough they are. But from what I saw, I haven't seen any stain or scratches on it(My friend really...- Spen Javer
