Paid for my Quads with a money order. Seemed to take 1-2 days off of the wait time. The lead singer in my band ordered by using his card (or PayPal) and he ordered 2-3 days before I did, got them a day apart. I think it's because they didn't have to email me for permission to charge my card etc.

My quads Freakin rock. As a drummer they are a dream, both on the stage and just listening. As a sidenote: Eating while having your iems' in isn't a great idea. Sounds like marbles rolling around in your head! Lol

Quote: I agree, the fact is after 2-3 yrs I'd imagine the time would come when the new stuff would look like a step up. Even with the V-6 my ears perked up. I have had the Quads for about a month and LOVE them. Went with the Quads because 6,8,10,12 drivers just seems like over-kill to me...

Quote: Before ordering mine I asked 1964 ears about soft tips on their Facebook page, this was the response and why I went with the hard: "The soft tips do bend with mouth movements which improves the seal. The downside is that in 3-5 years the soft tips dry out and become brittle."

Quote: There is a lot to take in. I ran into the same issue. After all, $500-650 isn't chump change when it comes to something as simple as headphones. But it isn't that simple! I  personally need (as a drummer who will be using these in statge)  the extra low-end from my in ear monitors...
