I quite like the APP2 method to change volume with the slide up or down with the finger, kind of makes more sense than furiously tapping on either ear. However, saying that, it does the job so can't complain too much lol

The XM4 were always discounted so I imagine these will be fluctuating in price with offers now and again. I only managed 10% with unidays through my son which took the sting off a tiny bit lol

Must be my old ass eyes, it looks like the same hue to me lol. They should definitely release some special edition colours as they did with the WH headphones series. I would definitely consider grabbing another pair if they did.

I prefer black, looks more sleek. I wish they'd do an optic white version of the xm5. I had the silver (off white) xm4 as well, it reminds me of the colour of the late 80s early 90s computers.

Got rid of my xm4 yesterday, good timing as xm5 due in a couple hours. Went with black again but think maybe I should have gone with lighter colour now!

I believe the durometer of the foam is slightly different on the XM5, will find out tomorrow anyhow.

I must be in the minority, I loved the foam tips on the xm4 even though I'm not a huge fan of them usually. Sony have shipped my XM5s. Expect them tomorrow.
