1964-v3 after market cable? 3.5mm input (or lightning)
I have a set of 1964-v3 with recessed sockets and have gone through a few official cables. The wire and plastic shielding break at the base of the two-pinned plug. Offical cable is US$30 plus shipping. Is there any recommendation for a better 3.5mm cable that is not much more expensive, or...- iamagloworm

Anyone tried 1964 V3 and Unique Melody Aero? (considering as replacement to SE530's)
I am considering these two options after reading these two reviews and about the Shure SE535's. I owned SE530's until they were recently stolen and I am looking for a replacement. I was thinking of SE535's with custom mould from Sensaphonics, but I am opening up to other options. One thing I...- iamagloworm

Tips for getting the best out of custom moulds
Quote: I did get good isolation with the Shure foam tips from my se530's, I preferred the smallest size. It is with two custom moulds I have had done in the past, by two different audiologists in two different countries (australia and france) that I do not get good isolation. Both times I...- iamagloworm

Hi, I've owned a couple of pairs of etymotics and a couple of pairs of shures. my last pair were a set of SE530's. To be honest, they were not the most comfortable and the build quality was not great, but I was happy with the sound. The paint peeled and more annoyingly the rubber cable...- iamagloworm
